Koch and Rotte enter into cooperation

The woodworking machinery manufacturer Koch and the plant engineering company Rotte are now working together to combine their range of products for the furniture and kitchen industry in terms of automation in order to be able to offer complete processing cells from a single source.

The common goal of the collaboration is to be able to act as a full-service provider in the field of automated drilling and dowel insertion technology for customers in the kitchen and furniture industry. In joint consultations with the customers, the specific requirements are recorded and developed into bespoke system concepts. The installation, commissioning and servicing of the systems is also carried out jointly by both partners. However, the KOCH Group will remain the main contact for project communication to ensure that project handling remains as simple as possible for the customers.

"We hope that the cooperation with Rotte will enable us to provide our customers with the most comprehensive and customised package possible. Our machine technology is designed to meet individual customer needs, Rotte can also adapt to the different requirements and thus offer an optimal solution concept. In addition, the close proximity of the two companies makes project collaboration much easier, both for us and our customers," says Christian Koch, Managing Director of the KOCH Group.

"As an internationally operating company, we recognise the great potential of production automation. The cooperation with KOCH is an important step for us to address new customer groups with our innovations. We are convinced that the partnership will enable us to make the best possible use of our joint strengths, open up new markets and drive forward automation in the field of drilling and dowel insertion technology," adds Benedikt Rotte, Managing Partner of Rotte.
